Each film coated tablet contains: - Tranexamic Acid 250mg + Etahmsylate 250mg
Indication
Nunex ET Tablets are an advanced therapeutic solution for managing heavy menstrual bleeding (menorrhagia). The combination of Tranexamic Acid and Ethamsylate in Nunex ET Tablets offers a dual-action approach to controlling excessive menstrual blood loss.
Tranexamic Acid, an antifibrinolytic agent, prevents the breakdown of blood clots. By inhibiting the conversion of plasminogen to plasmin, Tranexamic Acid ensures that blood clots remain stable and effective, reducing the risk of excessive bleeding. This action is crucial in controlling bleeding where clots might otherwise dissolve prematurely.
Ethamsylate, a haemostatic agent, complements this by enhancing platelet aggregation and stabilizing capillaries. It improves the ability of platelets to adhere to damaged blood vessel walls and form stable clots. Additionally, Ethamsylate helps manage bleeding from tiny blood vessels, offering a comprehensive solution to control menstrual bleeding.
Nunex ET Tablets combine these two powerful agents to provide effective relief from heavy menstrual bleeding. They address both the stabilization of existing clots and the enhancement of new clot formation.
Contraindication
nausea, stomach pain, headache, nasal congestion, sinus pain, sinus inflammation, rash, tiredness, and musculoskeletal (bone, muscle or joint) pain. It may also cause diarrhoea.
