NEOGLIM-MP1 Tablets
Composition
Each Uncoated Bi-layered Tablet Contains: - Glimepiride 1mg + Pioglitazone 15mg + Metformin 500mg in Extended-Release form
Indication
Neoglim MP1 is a powerful triple combination therapy designed to manage type 2 diabetes in individuals who are not adequately controlled with lifestyle modifications or dual therapy. It contains Glimepiride 1 mg + Metformin 500 mg + Pioglitazone 15 mg, offering a multi-pronged approach to blood sugar regulation. This unique formulation is available as Neoglim MP1 tablets, also referred to as Neoglim MP1 tab or Neoglim MP1 tablet.
Each component plays a distinct role:
- Glimepiride, a sulfonylurea, increases insulin secretion from the pancreas, helping lower post-meal glucose spikes.
- Metformin, a biguanide, reduces hepatic glucose production, delays intestinal glucose absorption, and enhances insulin sensitivity.
- Pioglitazone, from the thiazolidinedione class, further improves insulin sensitivity in muscle and fat tissues, tackling insulin resistance — a key factor in type 2 diabetes.
The combination of glimepiride, pioglitazone and metformin hydrochloride (ER) tablets works synergistically to provide more effective and sustained glycemic control, especially in patients who haven't responded well to dual therapy.
As with all antidiabetic regimens, Neoglim MP1 should be used under medical supervision, with regular monitoring to ensure safety and efficacy.
